I've tried updating with old and new drivers for my video and sound card. I've tried using the /usepmtimer switch in the boot.ini I have tried disabeling one of the proccessor cores. I am running this on Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack2Ĩ. This connection is shared with 3 other computers. I am conecting through the internet through a Linksys router. The crashes occured streight out of the box.Ħ. My video and sound drivers, though this was done in attempt to fix the problem. I've tried so many things with no result. Theres not really any error reported except "Everquest has encountered a problem" and it crashes to the desktop. Longest I've run was about an hour and half, which was great. Unfortunately Eq2 (my fave game) is constantly crashing every 20-30 min. So far I've tried running Doom 3, Fear, Tomb Raider Legend, 3Dmark 06, and some nvidia demo's. 4 gig ram, 7950 gx2 nvidia card, intel dual core proc. ![]()
